MICHAEL "MICKEY MARANDOLA

Michael " Mickey " Marandola, 81, of N.W. 2nd Ave., Boca Raton, FL and Hoffman Ave., Cranston passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his Cranston residence. He was the husband of Rosemarie (Alterio) Marandola. He was born in Providence a son of the late Mathew and Margaret (Fazzini) Marandola. Mr. Marandola was the president of the former R.I. Pearl Co. for more than 35 years, until his retirement. He was a graduate of Massanutten Military Academy, URI and Boston University Law School passing the bar exam in 1952. He was a former member of the Alpine Country Club, Cranston, Boca Teeca Country Club and the Municipal Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was the brother of Marion Cribari of Naples, FL and the late Beverly Marsland and Marguerite Altieri. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in The Church of St. Mark, Garden City, Cranston at 10am. VISITING HOURS Sunday 5-8pm. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
