Michael J. LaBelle, Jr.

87, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Morgan Health Center, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Russo) Pace LaBelle. Born in North Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Mamie (Ricci) LaBelle, Sr. Michael was a US Army Veteran. After his military service he went on to start a catering business, where he serviced large manufacturers.

Besides his wife Lucille, he is survived by his loving son, Michael D. LaBelle and his wife Lori Ann of Johnston. He was the stepfather of Anthony Pace of Hawaii and the late Robert Pace. He was the step grandfather of Gian and Spenser Mitchell of New York, Keri and Anthony Mascio and their children of North Providence. He was the brother of Phyllis Scheibenpflug and her husband Al, Richard LaBelle and his wife Joanne, and the late Marion Baker. He was the former husband of the late Margaret Helen LaBelle and the stepfather-in-law of Joanne Pari. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
