72, of North Scituate, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of forty-six years to Carolyn A. (Rambone) DiFazio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael DiFazio. Michael was a self employed farmer and greenhouse grower. He was the former owner of Mike's Vegetable Stand in Cranston. He was a former member of the Providence Cranston Elks. Michael was an avid hunter, he loved the land and animals.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Chris M. DiFazio of North Scituate, Michael A. DiFazio, and Anthony A. DiFazio, both of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Miranda Rose Glennon of Scituate, and Michael O. DiFazio of Cranston. Michael was the brother of Elaine Masi of Smithfield, Janice Sheehan of Coventry, and Elizabeth Warner of Johnston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
