88, of Cranston St., Cranston, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Georgette L. (Contois) Di Domenico. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raffaele and Irene (Gemma) Di Domenico. Mr. Di Domenico was the owner of Crown Wholesale Jewelry in Olneyville Square, Providence for over 40 years. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of U.C.T. An avid golfer, he was a member of Potowomut Country Club for over 20 years. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Cheryl A. Horgan and her husband Tim of Stewart, FL and Michelle D. Calise and her husband Michael of Cranston; loving grandfather of Michael Truppi, Anthony Truppi and Corinna Calise; loving great-grandfather of Isabella Truppi; and dear brother of Ralph Di Domenico of Providence, Joseph Di Domenico of Johnston, Marie Violo of Cranston and the late Edward Di Domenico. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10 a.m.
Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
