Michael Caracciolo 83, of Independence Way, Cranston, formerly of Harding Avenue, Johnston died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at home. He was the husband of Lillian M. Covellone Caracciolo and the late Jeanette (Ragosta) Caracciolo. Mr. Caracciolo was a pipe fitter for General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, Groton, CT for thirty years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Scalabrini Council # 3547, Johnston. He was a past usher for forty-five years at Holy Cross Church and a past member of the Cranston Seniors Bowling League. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Michael D. Caracciolo of Johnston, Gerald P. Caracciolo and Claudia A. Mojkowski and her husband Walter all of Cranston. He was the grandfather of Lauren Mojkowski and Jenna Mojkowski. Mr. Caracciolo was the brother of Josephine Davis of Dupo, IL and the late Lawrence Caracciolo, Theresa Carnevale, Patricia Cherella and Anthony Caracciolo. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
