Michael J Attruia ,Jr.

Michael J Attruia Jr. 68, of Johnston, passed away on August 2, 2022. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Michael Sr. And Vilma (DiCurtis) Attruia.  Michael was an Insurance Adjuster for many years until his retirement.

Michael was born October 10, 1953 in the Federal Hill section of Providence, Rhode Island. He is an alumni of Classical High School where he began his lengthy football and baseball career. In 2017, Michael was inducted into the 1970 Classical High Schools Hall of Fame for his athletic  achiements. Michael was also a dedicated gym goer and body builder. He enjoyed being social and working hard. He has had a successful career as a contractor and construction worker later on as an insurance Adjuster. He was smart,intelligent, and always knew how to make people laugh. Michael loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his loving children:
Dina D’Antuono , Leanna Attruia, Michael,  Aubin Attruia III and Mia Attruia; his cherished grandchildren: Lyric, Bertrum Jr. , Urious , Symphony and Venice ; his dear siblings: Tina, Linda, Anthony and Michael Attruia . He was also the brother of the late Paul Attruia.
Michael’s funeral and burial services were private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the American Heart Assocation in Michaels name.
