Melissa (LeComte) Loiselle

Melissa (LeComte) Loiselle, 47, of Cranston, passed away Sunday February 11, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Geralyn (David) Levesque and Richard LeComte and his wife Susan.

Melissa was a graduate of Cranston High School West and then went onto attend Roger Williams University, her passion for reading and writing led her to explore a career in journalism. However, her caring nature, warm disposition and love of young children gave way to her true calling of early childhood education, and a career in childcare.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and upon befriending her, you had a lifelong friend. Besides children, she had a soft spot for all animals, especially dogs. Melissa loved spending time at the beach reading.  Melissa especially enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies, no matter the time of year.

Melissa leaves her two cherished daughters Hannah Loiselle, and Ashley Loiselle. She was the devoted sister of Richard LeComte, Jr., Jeffrey McDonald, and Sarah Plouffe and her husband Michael.  Melissa also leaves behind many adored nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to the visitation which will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 1-4pm with a memorial service to follow at 4 pm at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be private.
