MELISSA ANNE DELMONICO

19, of Cedar Street Cranston passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Anne (Perkins) Delmonico of Cranston and her companion Mario Barbeiro and Michael Delmonico of Johnston and his companion Judith DiPalma and her children. Melissa was 2007 honor student graduate of Cranston High School East. She was currently a student at CCRI in the Nursing Program. She worked for Ralph's Kitchen located at the Kelley Gazerro Post in Johnston for six years. Besides her parents she is survived by her loving brother, Michael Delmonico Jr. of Cranston, her maternal grandfather John Perkins of Cranston and the late Anne (Rave) Perkins, her paternal grandmother Annette (Genovese) Delmonico of Burrillville and the late Edmund Delmonico. Melissa was also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
