MATTEO S. ALIBRIO, 61, of Ausdale Rd., Cranston, RI, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008. For his last 36 years, he was the beloved and devoted husband of Rose Marie (Magnone) Alibrio.
Born in Providence, RI, he was the only son of Sophie T. (Lupo) Alibrio of Cranston and the late Matteo Alibrio.
He worked as a licensed electrician for 40 years and was employed by Nicholas Electric. He was a long standing member of the Highland Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed hunting and traveling as well as researching his many hobbies and collectibles. His greatest enjoyment was derived from spending time with his family. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him for his humor and quick wit. He was the beloved father of Jennifer Alibrio of Cranston, Matteo J. Alibrio and his wife Brandy of South Kingstown, and his two grandsons who were his pride and joy, Dante Michele and Cole Daniel Alibrio. He will be sadly missed.
Funeral from the NARDOLOLLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Wednesday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
