86, of Johnston passed away Wednesday March 11, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Henry Zompa. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Serafina (Petrozzi) DiBlasi. Mrs. Zompa was a graduate of the RI College of Pharmacy & Allied Sciences in 1942 and was a registered pharmacist for over 50 years. She was the owner and operator, with her brother Anthony DiBlasi, of the former Hartford Pharmacy in Johnston. She was the devoted mother of Patsy Carlone and her husband Richard of Johnston and Henry Zompa and his wife Karen of North Carolina. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Rick and Peter Carlone and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Domenic, Ralph and Anthony DiBlasi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
