MARY C. VENDETTI

Mary C. (DeGeorge) Vendetti, 85, of Maude Street, Providence passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was the wife of the late Albert D. Vendetti. Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Frederick and Alesandrina (Cardillo) DeGeorge, she had been a Cranston resident most of her life. Mrs. Vendetti was employed by the North Safety Equipment Company of Cranston for 35 years. She was a member of the Cranston Seniors. Mary is survived by one son, Albert J. Vendetti of Johnston, one daughter, Carlene J. Giarrusso of Cranston, she was also the mother-in-law of Linda Vendetti. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Michael J. and Albert J. Vendetti Jr; Alexis and Domenic Giarrusso, great grandmother of Andriana, Michael J. Jr., James and Anthony Vendetti. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8pm.
