MARY D. "SHORTY" (CARUSO) TUTALO

93, of Russet Way, Cranston, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Home in East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Tutalo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Carmina (De Toro) Caruso. Mary cherished being with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her children Peter Tutalo and his wife Cindy of Maryland, Anthony Tutalo and his wife Lynne of Johnston, Ronald Tutalo and his wife Patricia of Warwick, Ann Marie Cipolla and her husband Albert of Cranston and Joseph Tutalo and his wife Sandra of Cranston. Mary was the grandmother of seven and great grandmother of four. She was also the sister of Lucy Gallo of Coventry and predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence and also St. Elizabeth's Home, 1 St. Elizabeth's Way, East Greenwich, R.I. 02818.
