Mary A. (Tager) Elias

92, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2024 at HopeHealth Hospice, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest L. Elias. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Carim and Julia (Bojok) Tager. Mary worked as an assembly line supervisor for Hasbro Toy Company, and then as a cashier for Armen’s Hardware for 30 years.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Michael Elias and his wife Colleen, and Susan Elias-Capone and her husband Robert; cherished grandchildren, Kahla Tarbox, Michael Elias, Jennifer Bertoluzzi, Katherine D’Aiello and Maryssa DiSegna; great-grandchildren, Zemira, Odin, Arlo, Emmett and Siena. She was the dear sister of Shirley Villeneuve, Doris Purdue and the late George Tager, Louis P. Tager, Sr. and Anthony Tager. Mary is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and wonderful neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11:00 am in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Visiting hours and burial are respectfully private.
