MARY V. (MC KENNA) SOUTHER

Mary V. (McKenna) Souther 88, of Ocean Road, Narragansett, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at West Shore Health Center, Warwick. She was the wife for sixty-two years of the late Raymond V. Souther, Sr. Born in East Providence; she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Helen C. (Murphy) McKenna. Mrs. Souther was a secretary for various companies. She was a graduate of St. Xavier's High School, class of 1938. She is survived by her children Maureen A. Murphy of Warwick, Raymond V. Souther, Jr. of Henderson, TN, Kathleen M. Conaty of Riverside and Robert S. Souther of Pawtucket. She was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of thirteen. Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt1A) Narragansett on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter.
