MARY N. (SMITH) SORNBERGER

Mrs. Sornberger was an active member at St. Veronica Chapel in Narragansett; a volunteer for many years at The Store House at The First Church of God in Wakefield; and enjoyed quilting, playing bridge, and her many friends.

Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of John T. "Jack" Sornberger, Jr. and his wife Mary of Hampton, VA, Noeline Thomson-Bee and her husband Richard of Wickford, William R. Sornberger and his wife Ann Marie of South Kingstown, Karen A. Patriarca of Sarasota, FL, Kristin A. Sornberger of North Kingstown and Maureen P. Sornberger of Narragansett; loving grandmother of Ryan Sornberger, Tabitha Lewis and the late Erin Sornberger; and loving great-grandmother of Quinn, Dixie, and Walker Lewis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett, and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Friday 4-7 p.m. Interment will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
