MARY C. (CIFU) SANTAGATA

98, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Sandra Nolette, on September 12, 2012. Mary was the wife of the late Ernest Santagata, and lived in West Warwick before moving to North Kingstown one year ago. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Alessandro and Angelina (Capirchio) Cifu. Mary was a member of the Knightsville Library Seniors Club. Besides her daughter, she is survived by her much loved grandson Dr. Stephen C. Jarrow, his wife Debra, and son Paul of North Kingstown. She leaves her sister Gloria Ruggieri, and brother John Ruggieri, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was pre-deceased by sisters Olive Ruggieri, Rose Grande, Viola Di Battista, Esther Carnevale, Anna Rinaldi, and Carolyn Wells. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
