MARY (CARBONE) DI RAIMO

86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Monday February 7, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Di Raimo. Mary was born in Providence the daughter of the late Francesco and Maria (Grazia) Carbone. She is survived by her loving children, Catherine Rekrut and her husband Russell of Cranston, Anthony Di Raimo and his wife Donna of Johnston and Frank M. Di Raimo and his wife Lisa of Cranston. She was also the cherished grandmother of Cristen and Erica Rekrut and Nicholas Di Raimo, and was the sister of the late Evelyn DiPrete, Rose Fratiello, Victor, Frank, and Lee Carbone. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, baking and bowling. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Church, a member of the Apostleship of Prayer and Holy Name Society. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
