Mary R. (Young) Preston

69, of West Kingston, passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Robin A. Preston for forty-eight years.

Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Anna (DiPalma) Young.

Mrs. Preston was the former owner of Riccotti’s Sandwich Shop in Cranston for fifteen years, she late worked at Walmart before retiring.

Besides her husband, she leaves her grandson, Lance Preston, Jr.; two brothers, Jimmy Young and Kevin Young; and a sister, Frances Young. She was the mother of the late Lance Preston; and sister of the late Henry and Glenn Young.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 6-8pm followed by a funeral service at 8pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
