MARY N. (MORENA) POCAI

89, of East Providence, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Pocai. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of late Donato and Maria Costanza (DiChiaro) Morena. Mrs. Pocai worked at Bulova Watch Company in Providence, and then later was employed at A&Z Chain in East Providence for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving son, Fredrick Pocai, Sr. and his wife Linda of Johnston, her cherished grandson , Fredrick Pocai, Jr. and was also the dear sister of Josephine Eike of CT, Manuel Morena of Cranston, Lucy Paglia of East Greenwich and Christy Morena of Cranston. Mary was also the sister of the late Etta Carello and Carmen Morena. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-7 pm.
