MARY (PALUMBO) PETRARCA
95, of Luther Ct., Johnston passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Petrarca Sr. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Rinaldi) Palumbo. She is survived by her devoted children, Sandra Brothers and her husband Norman of Johnston, Marcia Hutchings of East Greenwich and Joseph Petrarca Jr. of Johnston. She was the beloved grandmother of Bettina Brothers, Norman Brothers and his wife Laurie and Chelsea Hutchings. She was the former mother in law of Michael Hutchings and sister of Carmela Salo of Johnston and the late Michael, Pasco, Arthur and Joseph Palumbo, Lillian Enos, Vincent, John, Carlo and Camille Palumbo, Carrie Fuoco and Nancy Scungio. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10:am Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
