MARY L. (SOARES) MELLO
91, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of the late Gilbert "Gil" Mello, Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albano and Maria E. (Felix) Soares. Mary was employed in the housekeeping department at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence for twenty years before retiring in 1985.
Mary is survived by her sister Lillian Sylvia of Cranston, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gilbert Soares.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
