Mary A. (Kennedy) McKenna

98, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Greenwood Center in Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene R. McKenna, Sr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William J. Kennedy Sr. and Katherine M. (Killoran) Kennedy.

She is survived by her loving sons, Eugene R. McKenna Jr. and his wife Jane, and Steven D. McKenna and his wife Sheila; three cherished grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and dear deceased brother William J. Kennedy Jr.

Mary worked for thirty-five years as the fiscal clerk for Family Court, State of Rhode Island. After her retirement from this position, she continued to work for the Weststaff Employment Agency and she was placed in various positions with the State of RI, Dept. of Children, Youth and Families, the RI Sixth Division District Court, and the RI Dept. of Corrections. She formally retired at age 89.

Mary loved working but her other passions included fashion, friends, shopping and hanging out at her favorite restaurant, Twin Oaks.

Her Funeral Services will be private.
