MARY (BORANIAN) GOSHGARIAN, 78, of Bretton Woods Drive, Cranston, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 3, 2009. She was the beloved wife of Paul Goshgarian. They would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on June 27th. She was the daughter of the late Melkon and Hurpik (Sooltanian) Boranian.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, James P. Garan of Cranston, her daughter Jean A. Goshgarian Michael of Cranston, and her loving grandchildren, Thomas Michael and Laura Michael, whom she cherished more than life. She was the sister of Anna Parascandolo of Johnston, Peter Boranian of North Providence and the late Margaret Boranian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary was the most wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards with her grandchildren, golfing with her husband, and most of all, taking care of her family. She also volunteered at the Cranston Senior Center and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
