86, of Redwood Dr., Narragansett and formerly of Salem Dr., North Providence, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 65 years of the late Adolf Gianquitti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Imondi) Montaquila. Mary was a devoted mother who enjoyed baking and sharing her legendary cookies and biscuits with family. She was an avid bowler and craft enthusiast. She founded and operated for several years, Gianco, a successful jewelry business. Her recent interest was designing and making jewelry. She was the devoted mother of Linda Ernst and her husband Russell and Raymond Gianquitti and his wife Kathleen, all of Narragansett and the late Lois Dandeneau and her husband Joseph Dandeneau of North Providence; loving grandmother of Jennifer Dech, Jason Dandeneau, Kristen Ernst and Sara Ernst; loving great-grandmother of Abigail Dech; and dear sister of Helen Feole of North Providence and Angelo Montaquila of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett, and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home - SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd.
