Mary "Melda" (Roukous) DiLullo, 93, of High Service Ave., North Providence, formerly of Johnston, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007 at home. She was the former wife of the late James DiLullo.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Jacob and Lilly (Michael) Roukous, she moved to Johnston in 1952, before moving to North Providence in 1994.
Mrs. DiLullo worked at the former Uniroyal Rubber Company in Providence for 30 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of The Holy Rosary Sodality at St. George Maronite Catholic Church.
She was the devoted mother of Bernard DiLullo, Sr. and his wife Jennie of Providence, Lillian Barish and her husband Raymond of Johnston and Mary Isaac and her husband Dr. Elias Isaac of Allentown, PA; dear sister of Angelina George of Seekonk, MA, Eva Anthony of Smithfield, Ann Michael of Providence and the late Joseph and Stephen Roukous; loving grandmother of twelve; and loving great-grandmother of ten. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
