98, of Cranston St., Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Scandinavian Home in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas S. DeVona. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maddalena (DiMeo) Saccoccio.
Ann was the owner of the former DeVon Beauty Salon for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Dennis DeVona and his wife Lori Boardman of Cranston and the late Thomas S. DeVona, Jr.; loving grandmother of April DeVona and Zoe DeVona, both of FL; dear sister of Bertha Agatiello of Bristol and Jane Trombi of Coventry; and loving aunt of Madeline Montaquila. Ann is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and had many "adopted daughters" whom she loved.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, December 6th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday, December 5th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
