MARY P. (PICCOLANTONIO) BUONO

88, formerly a Cranston resident for 60 years and West Bay Manor for the last year, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012. She was the wife of the late Anthony Buono. Mary is survived by her daughter Kathleen Lombardi and her husband Arnold and sons Chuck Buono and his wife Ellie and Michael Buono. Daughter of the late Matteo Piccolantonio and Maria Michela (Tocci) DelForno. Step-daughter of the late Aquilino Del Forno. Beloved Grandmother to Stephanie, Stephen, Joseph and Alexa Buono and Great-Grandmother to Francesca Buono. She is also survived by her sisters Elena Piccolantonio and Vinny Olerio. She was also the sister of the late Annette DeMarzo, Joseph and Louis Piccolantonio. Mary also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary worked for the State of RI for 28 years and was the former owner of the Buono Family Bakery on Courtland Street, Providence with her husband Tony. Mary's family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, Cranston at 10:00am. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
