Mary C. (Muldoon) Brock, 95, of Bridgetown Rd., Narragansett and formally of Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at home. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Brock. She was born in Somerville, MA, a daughter of the late Myles and Sarah (Donagher) Muldoon. She grew up in Hartford, Ct, and graduated from Hall High School. She attended business school, and pursued a secretarial career before her marriage in 1939, and later after raising four children. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Parish, Lexington, MA, and served as president of its women's club. She was active in her community, enjoyed travel, gardening, and music, and loved the beaches of New England and Florida. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church, Narragansett since moving to RI in 2001. Mary loved family, working, homemaking, gardening, music, beaches and animals. She is survived by her children, Margaret Archer of Kensington, MD, Susan Brock of Narragansett, Arthur Brock and his wife Barbara of Novi, MI and Peter Brock and his wife Alice of Vernonia, OR. She also leaves her grandchildren, Michele Brock/Sly of East Lansing, MI, Jake, Miles and Seth Brock in OR and a great granddaughter Lucy Brock/Sly. She was the sister of Margaret McDaniel of Sarasota, FL. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAEPL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd ( Rt 1A ) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Veronica Chapel, Narragansett at 10am. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. The family will be receiving friends 1 hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI.
