MARY A. (DI RIENZO) DE SIMONE

91, of East Greenwich previously of Cranston, passed away on Saturday June 26, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick DeSimone Jr. Mary was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Antoinette ( Superti) DiRienzo. Mrs. DeSimone was a quality control inspector for the former Fort Jewelry in Providence, for 10 years until her retirement. She enjoyed and lived to nurture her family. Mary is survived by her loving children, Patrick DeSimone III of North Kingstown and Michael L. DeSimone and his wife Elaine of Warwick. She was also the cherished grandmother of Claire O'Connor, Christina Perlov both of MA, great grandmother of 5, and was the sister of the late Louis and Philip DiRienzo, Celestina Palmieri, Lena Iacampo, Clara Cacchiotti and Angelina DiRienzo. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8pm.
