Mary A. (Paul) Moretti

Mary A. Moretti, 87 of Cranston passed away peacefully, Monday January 23, 2023. Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Balbina (Pereira) Paul. She was the devoted, and loving wife of the late Anthony M. Moretti.

She was Manager of Communication for many years at Lifespan, and The Miriam Hospitals. She was loved by all who met her, and always stayed in touch with friends, and former co-workers. She cared deeply for her extended family, and holidays were of great importance. She helped her husband in the day-to-day operations in his businesses and helped manage his apartment homes. Mary was the center of the Moretti family. She cherished all her nieces and nephews as her own children. She was always there with a helping hand and a sympathetic ear.

She leaves a brother Sylvester Paul and a sister-in-law Sandra Moretti. She is survived many nieces and nephews Robert and his wife Gladys Carlino, Raymond Carlino, Ernest Santoro and his wife Connie, David Santoro, Marco Moretti, and Antonetta Moretti, Heidi Scholes, Holly Pagliarulo, Wendy Scholes, Michael Pagliarulo, Jr., David Pagliarulo, and Timothy Pigliarulo. She also leaves her great nieces and nephews Michael Carlino, James Carlino, Tracey Santoro, Tricia Santoro, and Tony Santoro. She was predeceased by her siblings Rita Savicki, Betty Mulligan, and Hilda Scholes.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday January 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Burial will be immediately following in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be from 8:30- 10:30 at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
