Martina "Tina" (Catalano) D'Ambrosio 83, of Almira Avenue, Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter on Monday September 3, 2007. She was the wife of the late Louis D'Ambrosio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Saverio and Elvira (Schrilli) Catalano. Mrs. D'Ambrosio was a seamstress for the former Cherry &Webb Department Store for six years before her retirement. She was also employed by the former Peerless Department Store for thirty years as a seamstress and sales person. She is survived by her daughter Diane L. Lang and her husband John of Johnston. Mrs. D'Ambrosio was the grandmother of Andrea, John, Michael and Brian Lang. She was the sister of Sarah Delvecchio of Foster, Ida Pompa of Englewood, CA and the late Giovanina Leone, Pasqualena Lombardo, Gaetano, Carmine, and Peter Catalano. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
