44, of Cranston, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Lori A. (Palombo) Champagne. Born in Cranston, he was a son of Robert E. Champagne of Cranston and the late Carol (Gagne) Champagne. Mark was a private investigator and the owner of Insights Investigative Group of Cranston. He was also a master carpenter and enjoyed building from a very young age, working with his father and brothers. Mark was a graduate of Bryant University, class of 1988. He was an adventurer and explorer, leading an expedition for National Geographic. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by his loving children, Brittany R., Andrew M., Brent D., and Amber B. Champagne all of Cranston. Mark was the grandfather of Javeis and Xzavier Carpenter. He was the brother of David B. Champagne of Cranston and the late Gary A. Champagne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
