Mark S. Adamek

77, of Cranston passed away Saturday February 8, 2025 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gayle Sepe. Born in Newport, RI he was the son of the late Frank and Pauline (Olosson) Adamek. Mark was a bus driver for RIPTA for many years and was a US Army veteran. He was a member and Past Master Councilor of Doric Chapter Order of DeMalay. Mark was also the State Treasurer of the Rhode Island Suite as well as holder of the Degree of Chevalier, the highest award given to an active DeMalay. He was also a proud member of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 618 for over 50 years. Mark was a kind and gentle man with a big heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Mark S. Adamek, Jr. and his companion Dana Long; Gayles children Michael J. Sepe, Jr. and Steven J. Sepe; his grandchildren Olivia A. Sepe, Dylan M. Sepe and Alexander M. Sepe. He was the dear brother of the late Carl Adamek. Mark is also survived by his niece Gretchen Adamek and her companion Lance.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday February 14th at 11:30 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by Burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Thursday February 13,2025 from 4 pm – 7pm.
