MARJORIE (PALIOTTA) DeMELO

89, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away on Sunday at Hospice Care of RI. in Providence.

She was the devoted wife of the late Paul DeMelo, and loving mother of the late Paula DeMelo.

Born in Pontecorvo, Italy she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Petronella (Sepe) Paliotta.

She was the beloved mother of Ann Marie Pursche and her husband Paul of Johnston, John DeMelo of Tavernier Florida, Marjorie Darragh and her husband Wayne of Johnston; beloved mother in-law of Cheryl DeMelo of Johnston; loving grandmother of nine; and loving great-grandmother of six; dear sister of Mary Paliotta of Cranston and the late Anthony and Alexander Paliotta and dear sister in-law of Anthony and Nancy DeMelo of Cranston.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
