MARIO A. DI RAIMO

89, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Giuseppa (Nenna) DiRaimo. Born in Castelnuovo Parano, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Gamba) DiRaimo. Mr. DiRaimo worked in construction for 25 years until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children; Filomena DiPrete of Cranston, Margaret Petrusewicz of East Greenwich, Anna DiRaimo of Smithfield, Mario DiRaimo and his wife Jennifer of Mississippi and Antoinetta Corl and her husband Curtis of Virginia. Mario was the brother of Vincenzo, Santillo, Alfonso, Francesca and Nicolina DiRaimo. He was the grandfather of six and great grandfather of five. His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be held in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
