Mario Marziale, Sr.

84, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Caparco) Marziale for 64 years. Born in Arpino, Frosinone, Italy, he was the son of the late Raffaele and Laura (DiRenzo) Marziale.

Mario was a self-employed jewelry manufacturer, specializing in men’s findings. He was a member of the Santa Maria di Prata Society, where he was a Bocce champion. Mario was known for his stories from the old country that he shared with his family, whom he loved so deeply. He was a kind soul and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Besides his wife Maria, he is survived by his loving children, Mario Marziale, Jr. of Warwick, Nina Joseph of Johnston and Raffaele Marziale of Bristol; cherished grandchildren, Mario III, Kiara, Stefano, Robert, Marisa, Domenic, Luca, Anthony, and one great grandson on the way, Mario IV. He was also the brother of the late Fiorello Marziale and Celestina Martino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:00am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
