Marilyn A (Chartier) Pelland

74, of Cranston , passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert O. Pelland, Sr . Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Howard Townsend and Lillian Medeiros Chartier. Marilyn was the co-owner of A &A Auto Parts in Providence.

Marilyn lived for her family, and would always tell everyone how blessed she was in her life. She loved to brag about her precious angels to anyone who would listen. Her smile could light up a room and her personality shined bright. Her love for life was unmatched.

She is survived by her loving children: Tammy Pelland of Cranston and Robert O. Pelland Jr. and his wife Paula of Cranston. She was also the dear sister of:  Richard Chartier of Florida and Maureen Gardner of Massachusetts; cherished grandmother of: Nicole Paris (Ryan), Robert Pelland III (Mikayla); great grandmother of:  Emery Paris, Gia Pelland , Aliyah Messier and loving aunt of: Tina Soscia.  She was also the sister of the late Dorothy Rowan , Marlene Chartier, Barbara Gauthier and Harold Chartier , and was the cherished grandmother of the late Christopher R. Pelland.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston . Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston . VISITING HOURS : Wednesday 4-8 pm.
