Marilyn P. (Peffer) Michaud
81, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Det. George A. Michaud, C.P.D. Ret. Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Widney J. and Jane (Cavanaugh) Peffer, she resided in Cranston for over 75 years.
Before her marriage, Marilyn was a bank teller at the former Industrial National Bank in downtown Providence. She was a member and former treasurer of the Meshanticut Garden Club.
She was the devoted mother of James A. Michaud and his wife Kathy of Glastonbury, CT and Karen M. Peterson and her husband Doug of Millis, MA; and loving grandmother of Matthew J. Michaud. She also leaves many dear and close friends.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in The Church of St. Mark, 9 Garden Court, Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are TUESDAY MORNING from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
