MARIE "TINA" E. (MERCURIO) FLORIO
MARIE E. "TINA" (MERCURIO) FLORIO, 61, of Garner Ave., Johnston, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of John W. "Jack" Florio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena (Ascoli) Mercurio.
Tina was loved by everyone who knew her. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Christine M. Florio of Foster, and dear sister of Anna M. Gruttadauria of Johnston. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:15 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS THURSDAY 4-8 p.m.
