Marie Rozzero

96, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Saint Elizabeth Home. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Rozzero (“Dick”) and the loving mother of Linda Marie (Rozzero) Ousterhout and Richard J. Rozzero II, both of Narragansett. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Palma (DelSesto) Petrucci. 

Until Dick passed in 2002, Marie and Dick enjoyed splitting their time between their beach home in Narragansett, RI and their Florida getaway in Bonita Springs. Marie loved spending time with friends, playing cards, and cooking for her family. Later in life, Marie generously donated much of her time as a volunteer at South County Hospital.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Dick in 2002, her daughter Linda in 2021, and her sister Gloria (Petrucci) Tomasso in 2017. She is survived by her son, Richard J. Rozzero II and his wife Charlotte, of Narragansett and her son-in-law, David E. Ousterhout. Marie also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, David A. Ousterhout and his wife Harriet K of Concord, NH, Maria (Ousterhout) Lowe and her husband Matthew of Jamaica Plain, MA, Stephanie (Rozzero) Parente and her husband Nicholas of North Kingstown, RI, and five great grandchildren, Sophia & Olivia Ousterhout, and Joseph, Eva Marie & Emma Rose Parente. 

Her funeral services are private. The family welcomes donations in Marie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
