MARIE A. (PEZZI) RICCI

94, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cranston. Marie was the beloved wife of seventy-one years to Orlando Ricci. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Scungio) Pezzi. Marie along with her husband was a member of the Johnston Senior Center. She was a former member of the St. Rocco's Church, Legion of Mary.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth A. Souza of Warren, and Dennis A. Ricci and his wife Rosemarie of Warwick. Marie was the cherished grandmother of four and the great-grandmother of four. She was the sister of the late Anna DiOrio, Margaret Pezzi, Louis, Frank, John and Carmine Pezzi. Marie was the mother-in-law of the late Robert Souza.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
