MARIE M. (LOMBARDO) IACONO

93, of DiPonte Drive. Johnston, passed away on Saturday May 7, 2011 at the Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Vito Iacono. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (DiMuccio) Lombardo.

Marie was the mother of the late Rita M. Christopher and mother in-law of Philip Christopher of North Kingstown; loving grandmother of Kimberly Kane and her husband Esmond; great nana of Alexis and Benjamin and also great nana of Sarah and Sophia. She was the sister of Joseph Lombardo of Cranston and the late Ralph, Raymond and John Lombardo.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave. Johnston at 9 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
