MARIE S. FLORIO

Marie S. Florio 68, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johnston, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence; she was a daughter of the late James V. and Pauline (Discepoli) Florio. Miss Florio was a prep cook for various restaurants in the Providence area for over twenty years. She is survived by her brothers and sisters; Frank Florio of Providence, James D. Florio and Paul M. Florio both of Cranston, Anthony Florio of Warwick, Linda A. Moretti and Patricia J. Colardo both of Cranston. Miss Florio is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
