MARIE C. (TRAVELYN) FLORIE

103, of Atwood Avenue, Johnston, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of the late Thomas Florie. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Vessella) Travelyn. Marie was employed by the former Boston Store of Providence until its closing. She then became a buyer of ready to wear at the former Gladding's Department Store until its closing. Marie then worked at St. Robert Bellarmine Rectory until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling. She is survived by one sister Susan McVay of Harlingen, Texas and the late Clementina Boragine, Jennie Pezzullo, Antonetta Ricci, Rose Carnevale and Pasco Travelyn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
