Marie J. 'Joise' Dionisi

94, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Guido Dionisi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Marcello) Rossi. Josie was the office clerk at the former Clark and Coombis Company of Providence for 43 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Regina Coeli Society, the Knightsville Senior Club and Library Association and the St. Mary's Feast Society, Cranston. Beloved aunt of Elaine Zayat of Cranston with whom she lived with, Lucy Smith of Cranston, Roberta Turchetta of Cranston, Robert Rossi of Fl and the late Albert Cataldo, Jennie Martino and Theresa Cogean. Marie was the cherished and proud great auntie of 16 nieces and nephews and the great-great auntie of 25 nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Antonetta Cataldo, Victoria Moretti and Albert Rossi. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 10:00am. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, 181 Princess Avenue, Cranston 02920.
