Marie C. 'Tootie' Renzi

88, of Venice, Fl., formerly of Cranston, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Renzi. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Adelina "Lena" (Farina) Ruggieri. Marie was the owner of Marie Renzi's Beauty Salon, where she was a hairdresser for over 35 years. "Tootie" will be fondly remembered by family and friends alike for her extraordinary culinary skills and the way she shared them with love and benevolence. Marie is survived by her loving children, Rhonda Henry of Venice, FL and Dr. Richard Renzi of Warwick. Mother- in-law of Susan Renzi and the late Honorable William T. Henry. She was the cherished grandmother of Vanessa Henry, Rachel LaMay, Richard Michael and Dr. Alexandra Renzi, and the great-grandmother of Emma, Zoey and Nora. She was also the sister of Anthony "Jiggy" Ruggieri of Cranston and the late Pauline DiBiase. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at11:00 a.m. in St. Matthews Church, Cranston. Burial will be private.
