MARIE (DISCUILLO) CORNACHIONE

71, of Johnston, passed away on Monday December 21, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Philip J. Cornachione . They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in November. Born in Providence, and had resided in Johnston for the past 40 years, she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Ravo) DiScuillo, Sr. Marie enjoyed baking, crocheting, travelling, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church. Besides her husband she was the beloved mother and dear friend to her daughters Gina M. Cornachione, of North Providence, Maria Kula PhD and her husband Mirek of Greenville and Lisa Ann D'Amico and her husband Joseph of Smithfield; and cherished grandmother of Krystyna and Amanda; and dear sister of William DiScuillo, Jr. of Johnston, Barbara Borino of Greenville, Elizabeth Tuten of Cranston, Ralph "Joe" DiScuillo of Middletown, Anna Monforte of Henderson, Nevada and the late Josephine Imondi. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; and a special aunt to Frank Gelfuso of Cranston. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church George Waterman Rd. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
