MARIE T. (COMELLA) CASTRIGNANO

89, of North Providence, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at home. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Angela (Purpura) Comella. She is survived by her loving son, Angelo Castrignano and his wife Mary of Johnston, her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Cataloni, Christopher Castrignano and her great granddaughter, Gianna DiMeco. She was also the sister of Josephine Gallucci of North Providence, and the late, Lena Paterno, Anna Marsella, Concetta Bellini, Margaret Miele, Rose Caracciolo, Christina Marinelli, Nicholas "Cola" Comella and Michael Comella. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8 pm.
