Marie D. (D'Amico) Caranci

71, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28.  She was the beloved wife of 41 years to the late Luigi “Louie” Caranci.  Born in Providence to the late Salvatore and Evelyn (Barone) D’Amico, she is survived by her son Michael Caranci and his wife Denise and daughter LynnMarie Carter and her husband Steven, all of Cranston.

Marie was an employee of the Cranston Public Schools for over 25 years and retired in 2018.  She was an active member of the West Warwick Emblem Club. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was sister to the late Robert D’Amico of North Providence, RI.  She was the loving Grandma to Tabitha, Keanna, Courtney, Matthew, and Sebastian.  She will be missed by nieces and nephews, who she loved very much, and also her great niece and great nephews.
