94, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Armand Beliveau for 60 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Potito and Maria (Vena) Cesino. Marie worked for Health - Tex Clothing and was a business agent for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church. In her leisure time she loved ceramics and crafting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were very dear to her. Marie will be remembered for her love of life, her beautiful smile, and the kindness she showed to everyone.
She is survived by her loving children, Robert J. Beliveau and his wife Susan of Lincoln, Lynda T. Batalon and her husband Norman of Smithfield. Marie was the cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of three. She is survived by her sister Gloria DeAngelis of Cranston. She was the mother of the late Richard A. Beliveau and sister of the late Pat Casino, Theresa Chapron, Rose Carcaterra and Ann Turchetta.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine's Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave. Providence at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
